REP. ARMANDO -MANDO- MARTINEZ ANNOUNCES NEW JOB OPPORTUNITIES WITH NEW HOME DEPOT PARTNERSHIP

Representative Armando "Mando" Martinez, representing District 39, announced that The Home Depot in partnership with four of the nation's leading national Hispanic organizations, The Aspira Association, Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), National Council of La Raza (NCLR), and SER - Jobs for Progress National have established a hiring initiative featuring the theme, "Unidos podemos/United we can."

"I am enthusiastic about the positive impact that this partnership will create for cities in District 39," Martinez stated. "The opportunities that will be created by The Home Depot and the four national Hispanic organizations are a fine example of how we can improve areas through job opportunities in Texas." This is the first time these organizations have teamed up with a corporate partner on a single hiring initiative.
